Psalm 5:1-3
Trust in God for Deliverance
A Psalm of David.
1 Give ear to my words, O Lord;
give heed to my sighing.
2 Listen to the sound of my cry,
my King and my God,
for to you I pray.
3 O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice;
in the morning I plead my case to you, and watch.
Morning is the time of fresh starts and new opportunities. Some mornings come and the weight of all that we have been going through makes faith falter a bit.
In Psalm 5 David prays early for God to listen not only to his words but also to the sound of his cry. Even when we don't have the words to express what is in our hearts, God knows, he hears, and he understands. Read the rest of Psalm 5 and take note of what the person praying is expecting from God and his understanding of who God is.
Take some time to put things into perspective, we serve the God for whom all things are possible.
