Here at Harbor, we’re committed to providing meaningful avenues for our congregation to grow closer - to the Lord and also to one another. We do that through fellowship, discipleship, and service. As you scroll through this page, you’ll see many ways for you to deepen your faith in Christ and make family-like friendships that will last a lifetime.
Discipleship
Every Wednesday night we gather at Harbor for a time of fellowship and discipleship called Refuel. We know that it’s impossible to have the energy to sustain us on one meal a weak, and so we meet together to fill up on the things we need as God’s people to faithfully live Kingdom lives all days of the week. Here’s how it works:
We gather at 6:30pm for a time of dinner and fellowship. Dinners are potluck style and coordinated via Facebook Messenger each week. Afterwards, we gather in the sanctuary to dive into Scriptures often with help from The Bible Project.
If you want to feel deeply connected to a church, Refuel is the way to do it!
Men face unique struggles in the world, and we know that. Men’s ministries exist here to create a safe space for men to explore and deepen their faith, all while building friendships that will help hold them accountable and encourage them as they journey along.
We meet every other week for Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 8:00am.
We also hold occasional men’s retreats (Camping trips, paintball outings), as well as organizing church work days to give an opportunity to serve.
Our women’s ministry, led by Carrie Jones, is an awesome opportunity for you to find friendship and discipleship in fun and creative ways, such as:
Girls’ Night Out hosted on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month - one at a restaurant for fellowship and the next for a unique women’s Bible study.
There’s also our annual Winter Women’s Retreat where you’ll have the chance to get away with the girls for a night/day and grow closer to the Lord through this intensive get-away.
We love our kids and we take their faith seriously. We’ve worked hard to create a safe, authentic space for our kids to learn the stories of Jesus. You can learn a lot more by checking out the kids page - click the link on the navigation bar at the top of the page to learn more!
We are currently in the planning phases for youth ministry. Even still, our deep desire is to be a Harbor for our students as much as we are for every other age group. This is one of our highest priorities for the near future. We’ll keep you posted as we near our launch date!
missions
Hope ministries is an outreach to single women who are experiencing an unexpected pregnancy and single parents in our community, via Hope Boxes and our future Hope Pantry.
Hope Boxes are designed to offer hope to a future mom who needs to know they are not alone and can, if they choose, have a congregation who will come alongside of them in raising their child.
Hope Pantry is our future initiative to meet their needs and alleviate the financial stressors of having young babies. We’ll accomplish that by stocking diapers, clothes, and other necessities that often make a new mom stressed.
We are excited to see how this ministry grows over the years.
“Be the Light” is our annual community kindness campaign. As a congregation, we spend an entire month loving our community in lavish ways through Non-Random Acts of Kindness. What does that mean? Check out some of the creative ways our people have loved their neighbors:
Donuts to our schools’ teachers and staff as a thank-you for all they do.
Cooking dinner for our fire department.
Leaving large tips to our servers at our local restaurants.
Flowers, notes, and lunches to co-workers.
Gifts to show appreciation for businesses and workers who have cared for us over time.
Those are just a few examples of all the ways we bless our community in this campaign and we’re looking forward to all the ways this grows over the years.

Do you like to work? Do you have a passion for traveling the world and making a difference? Can you work with your hands?
Work and Witness is how we Nazarenes use our resources and our skills to build churches, homes, schools, and hospitals all over the world. There are also opportunities to lead Vacation Bible Schools and other non-construction projects to spread the love of Christ around the world.
